Gamaya has been selected as one of the 3 finalists of the Swiss Economic Award in the category Hightech/ Biotech. This year a number of applications was extremely high, over 250 young entrepreneurs have applied for the Swiss Economic Award, one of the most prestigious awards for young entrepreneurs in Switzerland. After careful evaluation and assessment, 18 young companies have been selected and attended SEF.Award Campus Day 2017, organized for the first time. Nine finalists have been identified based on the pitch at the Campus Day 2017, 3 finalists in each category: Production, Hightech/ Biotech, Services. We are very thankful to the Swiss Economic Award jury for this selection. We strongly believe in a tremendous potential of our technology to make farming more efficient and sustainable, and to put Switzerland at the forefront of the global race for sustainable development of agriculture. The Swiss Economic Award has been singling out exceptional start-ups on an annual basis since 1999. Together with partners Swiss Economic Forum funds its prizes with the aim of fostering Switzerland’s entrepreneurial spirit and next generation of business entrepreneurs. The prizewinning start-ups act as exemplars and motivators, encouraging other potential young entrepreneurs to venture towards independence.
